About

Before you start a cleaning schedule, you should decide what tasks you need done. For example, a small apartment will need less time than a mansion. Decide how many hours you will need to clean before committing. Also, consider your schedule when setting your schedule. Do you have more time on the weekends? If so, consider setting a weekly schedule instead. After deciding your schedule, you should decide what types of tasks need to be done and how much time you want to spend on each task, so you can fit it in your daily schedule.

Before you hire a cleaner, make sure to set the hours that you want them to clean. This will help avoid misunderstandings and disappointments. Also, be sure to indicate how much time you need them to spend cleaning each room. By doing this, you will ensure that you don’t waste their time on areas they won’t use. After all, if you are hiring someone for a cleaning job, you need them to get it done in the time that you specify, not when you’re home.

Then, assign certain tasks to each shift. You may be responsible for cleaning a specific area every time, but this task will vary depending on the time of day. For example, a 24-hour restaurant may have a high-volume rush during dinner, and so the overnight crew should focus on that area. Likewise, a restaurant that opens in the morning may have a smaller crew working on the kitchen area. If you’d rather leave the deep-cleaning tasks for later, you can leave this to the overnight crew.
